As recently as last week, many of us presumed 3D-printed UCI-approved bikes were still several years away, at least. Pinarello had other ideas, and its new Bolide F HR 3D track bike for Filippo Ganna and Dan Bigham’s Hour Records is 3D printed in England by Metron Additive Engineering. CyclingTips visited Metron Additive Engineering to find out how and why they 3D print an entire frame, fork, seat post, and handlebars.
